A water storage tank is only as good as the material it is made from. Steel tanks rust, concrete tanks crack and leach lime unless they are lined, and one-piece plastic tanks stop being practical once the capacity passes a few thousand litres. Glass reinforced plastic removes all three problems at once.

This GRP water storage tank is assembled from compression-moulded panels that are inert in the presence of water. The panels neither corrode nor support bacterial growth, and the smooth moulded inner surface keeps scale and sediment to a minimum. Because the panels are bolted together on site with EPDM sealing strips, the tank can be formed into any plan shape and built to capacities from a single cubic metre to over a thousand.
