In hot climates, rooftop water tanks absorb solar radiation all day and the stored water becomes warm, encouraging bacterial growth. In cold regions, exposed tanks can freeze in winter. This insulated SMC panel water tank solves both problems: a polyurethane foam or rock wool insulation layer is bonded around the standard GRP sectional panels, stabilising the water temperature in every season.

The tank keeps all the advantages of the modular GRP sectional design, including free capacity arrangement from 1 m3 to more than 1,000 m3, on-site assembly in confined spaces and a corrosion-free service life of more than 25 years.
